TGFOP stands for Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe.

In the tea world, it's essentially a mark of very high quality. It means the tea contains a high proportion of "tips", the youngest, most tender buds of the tea plant. These tips are where the most delicate and complex flavors live.

First Flush is the very first harvest of the tea plant following its winter dormancy, typically picked between March and April. Because these are the youngest, newest leaves of the season, they are considered the most premium and flavorful harvest of the year.
